Intro to business- business-Morgage Rate on a 30-Year Rises to 5.01%

New York says that home morgage rates rose this week on an average on 30 year fixed rate back above 5% according to Fredie Mac's survey of morgage loans. Also morgage applications for home purchases jumped 10 % . After reading this I dont know how people are supposed to find housing in this economy while housing is going up and the economy is consistantly dropping.
